At Lugar Ortiga, every meal is a celebration of tradition.
Our specialty is wood-fired roasted kid goat, marinated for 24 hours with salt, herbs, and olive oil from our traditional mill, then slowly roasted in clay pans until the flavor and texture reach perfection.
Here, time is a key ingredient: from the patience of the wood-fired oven to the care taken in every detail, everything is crafted to offer an authentic experience of regional flavors.
For those who prefer other options, we also serve oven-roasted cod and “lagareiro-style” octopus, prepared with the same dedication and respect for tradition.
Lugar Ortiga is open four times a week: Friday and Saturday for dinner, Saturday and Sunday for lunch. It is a place where families and friends gather to enjoy the very best our land has to offer, surrounded by tradition, conviviality, and culinary soul.
