The main road access is the Beira Interior Highway A23, which crosses the southern part of Mação.
There are two accesses to the municipality of Mação: Nó A23 - Ortiga/Mação and Nó A23 - Envendos/São José das Matas
There is also the EN3 that enables the connection to Abrantes.
The northern connections are made by EN244 and 241-1, which leads to the Councils of Proença-a-Nova, Sertã and the connection to IC8.
To the West, there is the connection to Vila de Rei, through the EN2.
The ER 351, ER 359 and the EN 3-12 are the roads that connect Envendos and Mação, respectively to the A23.
By rail to access our County through the Beira Baixa Line, there are stops at Ortiga (Station and Apeadeiro da Barragem) and Envendos (Station Barca da Amieira-Envendos).
